Last week on Friday you should have received information from the Colorado Association of Realtors® about a healthcare solution program that is available. I encourage you to look at this program and see if this is a good fit for you. If you missed the email from CAR, please review it here .

I also want to congratulate Kevin Kuebert who graduated from the Colorado Association of Realtors Leadership Academy.

When you’re representing a property that’s under an active lease, you have to figure out how to get the renter on board with the seller’s plan.

Following four weeks of rate increases, fixed-rate mortgages posted a drop this week.

According to the New York Federal Reserve, an overhaul of tax code has “negatively impacted the housing market" by tamping down sales volume.
Major Update on Healthcare Offering for Colorado REALTORS ®
Big news for Colorado Realtors! The Colorado Association of REALTORS® announced a solution for affordable healthcare solution on Friday. It is made up of two parts:

1) Apex, which addresses small medical costs like preventive care, regular visits, prescriptions, etc.

2) Sedera, which addresses the large medical costs like accidents, cancer treatment, surgeries, etc.

CAR has worked to combine these two products into one offering available to REALTORS® for a cost that is 30% - 50% less than purchasing insurance on the Colorado exchange! For details, pricing, education, and more, explore the link:

May is Wildfire Awareness Month
Over half of Colorado’s population lives in areas considered wildland-urban interface areas (WUI). Homeowners should be aware of the threat of wildfire and how to reduce risks to property.

Local property owners can participate in the REALFire Program, a collaboration between Eagle County and the Vail Board of Realtors. REALFire is a free and voluntary program where an expert visits the property, assesses risks and offers property-specific wildfire mitigation recommendations.

Please join us on Tuesday, June 11 for a Lunch and Learn with local and regional authorities on wildfire risks and prevention. You will also learn more about the REALFire Program and how it can benefit both you and your clients.
