Celebrate Fair Housing Month
The Colorado Association of REALTORS® is hosting great interactive activities in the month of April to educate and celebrate Fair Housing Month.
Complete Fairhaven and be recognized on VBR's social media (course is no cost to NAR members - and meets the Fair Housing requirement).

VBRF supports area nonprofits
As part of its mission to support the community, the Vail Board of Realtors Foundation recently awarded grant funds to three Eagle County nonprofits.
A total of $16,500 was awarded to Habitat for Humanity Vail Valley, Swift Eagle Charitable Foundation, and Vail Valley Mountain Trails Alliance.
To qualify, a nonprofit organization must align with VBRF's mission of providing housing or housing funds for our community.

MLS Options for Sellers
The National Assocation of REALTORS® has adopted a new MLS policy, “Multiple Listing Options for Sellers.”
This policy will exist in conjunction with Clear Cooperation Policy and other MLS policies to provide sellers and their agents more options and choice when marketing a property, while also supporting fair housing.
Please note that the new policy does not change an MLS’s local mandatory submission deadlines or CCP and its requirement to file a listing with the MLS within one (1) business day from public marketing.
The VMLS will keep members updated on any policy changes for our MLS system. More information on the new NAR policy is linked in the button below.

Ethics & Fair Housing 3-year cycles: 1/1/2025 - 12/31/2027
It is the start of a new Ethics and Fair Housing / Anti-Bias 3-year cycle.
The cycle for All Realtors® and Appraisers is January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2027.
These are both requirements of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). All Realtors® and Appraisers must complete at least 2 hours of Fair Housing training and 2.5 hours of Code of Ethics (COE) training in the same 3-year cycle.
