We've had a fabulous week on adventure Island! 51 children are shining lights of love, faith, and hope.

We point to Jesus, our lighthouse.

Access 2 Success (A2S) at DCPC

Our Mission Partner - A2S - who works with youth development in Nigeria - has scheduled a Mission Update at DCPC on Thursday, July 30th. This is a great opportunity to hear the latest on A2S in Nigeria, including testimonies from some of our recent Vision Trip volunteers. Register here. It's free to attend.

We did not get to worship at the lake Memorial Day weekend, but we still have a day of fun planned at the Davidson College Lake Campus (exit 31 in Mooresville) planned for Saturday, August 1st, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Whether this is an “almost-back-to-school” outing or a “I still have a month left” event, members and friends of all ages are invited. Bring a lunch if you want to eat, the Fellowship Committee will have your drinks. Swimming, walking, paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing and corn hole are all on the docket, free of charge. Please know that Peter and members of our staff will never ask you directly for money via email or text. Nor will they send vague emails asking for "just a small favor" or "a little of your time." All of our emails our are first initial and last name, followed by @dcpc.org. So Peter's is phenry@dcpc.org, Robert Alexander's is ralexander@dcpc.org.

If you think it is a scam, it probably is. If you aren't sure, call the church office. Don't engage or click on anything until you have confirmed. We are sorry this is happening. It is not a data breach. It is just someone trying to impersonate Peter and/or DCPC staff members.
