Volunteer of the Week
Brook VanEss is our Volunteer of the Week!

Many schools have needs for office and/or school assistance and student assistance. This includes things like office work, fundraising, and more. This is true for Elmore Elementary, a school in the Green Bay Area Public School District, as well as for other schools across our community.

Brook VanEss assists in the Elmore Elementary office with things like student mailings, sorting, stapling, etc. She also assists on their popcorn days by making and bagging popcorn for the students. Brook also volunteers for various functions such as book fairs, picture days, health screenings, etc. She is active in the parent-school organization and offers many suggestions on ways to fund-raise. Brook's positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed has been a tremendous help for the students and staff at Elmore. Needs are many in public schools and, unfortunately, teachers and staff just don't have the time necessary to fulfill all the needs efficiently at times. That's why volunteers like Brook are so important!

Brook assists a minimum of 3 hours per week. Some weeks it's as much as 8 hours. She has been volunteering at Elmore for approximately 3 years. The students enjoy seeing Brook at school and know she is there to help wherever needed. Brook regularly attends parent-school meetings and always has suggestions on how to improve various events and engage the help of others.

Thank you, Brook, for helping to fulfill the needs of Elmore Elementary!
