The Volleyball Teams had a good week. The Varsity Warriors defeated Haywood Christian and Christ Classical Academy without dropping a set. Veritas will go into the WPAC tournament as the 3 seed, and will play Christian Family Academy at Veritas this evening at 5:00. The JV girls lost to Haywood 2-1, but bounced back to beat Christ Classical 2-0. The JV girls entered the WPAC tournament as the 9 seed. They went on the road and beat Haywood Christian 2–0, and will now play top seeded Nebo Crossing on Tuesday at 4:30 at Nebo. Our Middle School girls won their lone match of the week, defeating Haywood Christian 2-0.

Our Varsity Boys Soccer Team defeated Haywood Christian 9-0, lost to Hickory Christian 4-0, and beat Mt. Pisgah Academy 1-0. The Warriors will go into the WPAC tournament as the 2 seed, and will play Christian Family Academy in the semi-finals. That match will be hosted by Community Christian Academy on Tuesday at 4:00. The MS team lost to Rabun Gap 6-4 to conclude their season. Thank you to head coach, Dale Owen, for coaching the boys this year.
