A School Calendar Announcement

Dear Veritas Community,

In an attempt to reclaim some lost days/hours due to Hurricane Helene, we will have school on both Thursday and Friday, January 16 and 17. Previously, these days were early dismissal and Teacher Workday.

If any family has already made arrangements to be out of town during this time, it will count as excused absences.

December and January Hot Lunch

The Hot Lunch menus for November and December are now open for ordering! For your convenience, we group the two months together due to Christmas break. You may choose to order separately, or together.

The order window for December Hot Lunch will close on November 25th.

Warrior News

Basketball season is underway!

The Varsity Boys Team won their first game of the year, defeating Reynolds Mtn., 65-34. After beating Challenger Early College High School, 60-58 in OT, our boys lost to East Henderson High School 83-35. Our JV/Middle School Team lost their opener to the JV Team from Reynolds Mtn., 37-33. Later in the week, our boys lost to Veritas Prep Middle School in South Carolina, 40-25.

The Varsity Girls Team won their first game, beating Challenger Early College, 66-14. Later in the week, the Warriors lost a hard fought game to East Henderson, 50-38. Our JV/Middle School Team lost a JV game to Reynolds Mtn. 41-25, before beating Veritas Prep. 42-6 in a Middle School game. 

TUESDAY - there will be dinner for sale! Make plans to take a night off from cooking and support the senior class!
