From our Headmaster
Greeting Veritas Community,
It is a great privilege to serve all of you. What a joy to not only see you at school events such as our Fall Picnic, but also at various events in the community. This serves as a reminder of how the Lord has geared all of His people for relationships. This provides the platform for joy, celebration, edification, and so much more. My family and I appreciate the wonderful warm reception we have received and are humbled by the beauty of the Veritas family.
The Lord has taken my family through many seasons in my life. I worked HVAC in order to pay my way through college. My wife and I were teachers upon our college completion. The Lord then called me into active military service for eight years and two years reserve. After that time, He graciously brought me back into education and I had the opportunity to be a headmaster in Greenville, South Carolina and then assistant in Minnesota.
As I traveled through the seasons of life I wasn't sure why the Lord led me through such a diverse experience, but as I look back I can see (even if it is somewhat dimly) that the Lord was using all of it to better equip me for my Veritas chapter. I thank God for my beloved brother Dr. Woods and all the efforts of him and his staff to build a beautiful school culture. As we look forward to Veritas' future, let us remember those that have invested and helped Veritas' become who she is today. I am so excited to see what blessings the Lord has in store for Veritas in the coming years.
