PTF Love Offering

Dear Veritas Community,

Glory to God in the Highest! His blessings are so abundant each day. God has truly blessed our Veritas Family with the BEST teachers and staff.

Years ago, the annual Christmas Love Offering program was created to help our busy Veritas families by simplifying holiday school gift shopping while blessing each Veritas staff member with a unified gift of appreciation and love. Through the years, this has become a cherished tradition.

Participation is completely optional. As you choose to participate this year, for your convenience we have an online giving option. You may also write a check or send cash in an envelope labeled “Love Offering”. Please make checks payable to VCA PTF with “Love Offering” in the memo line.

All donations should be turned in to the office or online no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday, December 15th.

We also encourage your children to send in homemade Christmas cards. If your family would like to send in cards for specific teachers and staff, please be sure the person’s first and last name is on the outside of the cards. Cards will be collected, sorted, and packaged to be delivered with the Christmas Love Offering by PTF elves prior to winter break.

Reminders & Details for Lessons & Carols

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the Lessons & Carols program this Thursday evening. Please feel free to invite family, friends, neighbors...!

• Please consider signing up to volunteer to assist PTF with the Hot Cocoa reception. Click here.

• Please avoid picking your student up early on the afternoon of December 11.  Rehearsal will be underway at the church right up until carline, and students will not be easily accessible for pickup.

• Grammar School students should arrive at their classrooms between 6:00 and 6:15 p.m.  Aides will be stationed to meet them at the outside doors so that parents will not need to come into the building.  Parents may walk to the church to be seated.  

• Following the service. Kindergarten and First Grade students should be picked up in the hallway outside their classroom.  Second graders should be picked up in the Forum.  Third, Fourth, and Fifth graders are to be picked up in the Sanctuary.

• Students should wear dressy Christmas attire

Rhodes Scholarship Recipient

Congratulations to Jake Miller, Veritas Class of 2022, for earning the Rhodes Scholarship!

Established by British mining entrepreneur and philanthropist Cecil Rhodes in 1902, the prestigious scholarship provides postgraduate study at Oxford University. Jake is currently a senior at the United States Air Force Academy, where he is studying engineering and robotics, is a member of the Academy's parachuting team, and serves as Cadet Wing Commander, the highest-ranking cadet position at the Academy.

Warrior Watch Ep. 2

Senior Fundraising

Warrior News

Our Varsity Boys Basketball Team won their two games last week. The Warriors beat Bethel Christian 70-28, and then defeated Pinnacle Classical Academy 51-48.

The Varsity Girls split their two games. Veritas beat Bethel Christian 56-47, but fell to Pinnacle 48-44.

Our JV Boys also split their two games. The Warriors beat Bethel 49-47, but lost to Pinnacle 52-28.
