Drop-In on Friday for Open House and Book Fair

Literature Festival Week is here at last!

Make plans to spend time with your students on campus on Friday, February 27 at our Book Fair and Open House. Drop in anytime 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Walk the hallways with them to see the book door decorating contest, shop the book fair, and more!

Happy Literature Festival Week! Here is a reminder of two ways we are seeking help from the community as we plan for construction on our school library this summer:

• Consider donating financially. We have already been blessed with a $20,000 match pledge from now until March 12th. 

• Purchase books at the Book Fair to donate to the library. At our Literature Festival Open House and Book Fair on Friday, February 27 ( 9 a.m.- 2 p.m.) families will have an opportunity to purchase books to donate to our inaugural library, which will allow you to forever become a part of the Veritas legacy.



New Quarter Zip Pullovers are a Hit!

In case you missed it, we have added a quarter zip pullover to the uniform code at Veritas, and it has been very well received! You can find them on our school page on the French Toast website.

Warrior News

The Varsity Boys Basketball Team concluded their season last week in the CSAA state tournament. The Warriors defeated Sheets Memorial Christian 62-59, but then lost to Lee Park Prep 72-51 in the semifinals. Thank you to coaches Trent Wells and Jimmy Spence for coaching the boys this year.

The JV Boys Team lost to Asheboro Hybrid 36-25 in the quarterfinals of the state tournament. Thank you to Coach Adam Guice for all of his work with the team.

The Varsity Girls Team beat Covenant Classical 52-48 to advance to the semifinals of the state tournament. In that game, Veritas fell to Cresset Christian 69-31. Thank you to coach Patrick Holcombe and assistant coach Sydney Holcombe for coaching the girls this year.

The Middle School Girls Team lost to Lee Park 36-24 in the quarterfinals of the state tournament to finish their season. Thank you to coaches Sydney Holcombe and Patrick Holcombe for their work with the team this year.
