Welcome, Mr. Woernle and Family!
The Veritas board members are excited for the beginning of a new school year with our wonderful Veritas Community! We hope that each of you had the opportunity to meet Mr. Woernle and his family at the Ice Cream Social.

Ronald E. (“Eric”) Woernle Jr. is a seasoned educational leader with over two decades of experience driving institutional growth, academic excellence, and community engagement. Eric has played a pivotal role in leading dual accreditations, campus expansion, and the development of inclusive programs tailored to diverse learning needs.
Eric's background includes distinguished service in both the active duty and U.S. Army Reserves components, where he achieved the rank of Major and earned multiple commendations, including two Bronze Star Medals. His military career instilled in him a deep sense of duty, discipline, and operational excellence—qualities he brings into his educational leadership.
Eric holds multiple advanced degrees in education, theology, and classical studies, including an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University. Eric is passionate about building relationships, creating and maintaining a healthy, Christ-centered school culture, and cultivating learning communities where academic rigor, character formation, and faith integration thrive.
When he's not leading in education, Eric enjoys reading, mentoring, aquascaping, hiking, visiting aquariums, zoos, museums, and contributing to local community initiatives. We are excited to welcome Eric, his wife Tara, and their children to the Veritas community.
