WARRIOR NEWS

Our Varsity volleyball team has had a great two weeks to start their season. The Warriors defeated Nebo 3-2 to kick off the season. They have followed that up with a couple of 3 sweeps over The Master’s Academy and Reynolds Mtn. Christian. Veritas closed out the week with a 3-1 victory over Lake Lure Classical Academy.

The JV volleyball team has also won all 4 of their matches, while not dropping a set along the way. VCA won 2-0 over the same schools as our Varsity team, defeating Nebo, The Master’s Academy, Reynolds Mtn., and Lake Lure.

The middle school volleyball team was able to play 3 matches last week to open their season. The Warriors got off to a great start with a 2-0 win over The Master’s Academy. Our girls were beaten 2-0 by Reynolds Mtn. but got back on the winning track with a 2-0 win over Lake Lure. Fantastic start by all of our volleyball teams!

The Varsity boys soccer team is also off to a great start. Our boys have played 5 matches so far, and are currently undefeated. We opened the season with a 9-1 win over IC Imagine. After a 4-1 win over Nebo Crossing, our boys fought hard for a 5-4 OT win over The Master’s Academy. We had a midweek contest against the Trailblazers, where the Warriors won 3-0. Veritas closed out the week with a 9-0 victory over Lake Lure Classical Academy.

Thank you to all the fans that have supported our athletes so far. Please check out our google calendar for your next opportunity to see our Warriors compete!
