What's been happening with VCBynum Arts

Sept - Artists at the Center

We said it would be a party and a party it was! Black brilliance graced the stage to turn the Armory up a few notches. With several eye-provoking and foot-stomping performances, smiles, claps and head nods filled the building. It was a true experience sharing Art with the community.

Oct - Missa Gaia Earth Mass 2024

The dancers did a wonderful job performing at Missa Gaia Earth Mass 2024! Blessings were all around with the outstanding Rev. Beverly Moore-Tasy, musical director Ryan Ellis, and the amazing choirs. The JOY that emanated from each dancer was palpable and truly appreciated. It was beautiful to see how everyone embraced the moment and shared their amazing gifts. The room was filled with life and love as we honored the Earth and the Animals.

Oct - Bellevue College Pop-up Class

For our first Pop-up class on October 15th, we had nothing less than an amazing time. We hosted a Hip Hop and Jazz class with a room full of almost 30 people from different walks of life, all ready to dance! It was great to see everyone learning and growing throughout the class. We threw some curve balls, and they caught them! We also had fun connecting and learning!

Thank you Bellevue College Umoja Scholars for the opportunity to partner and host this Hip Hop/Jazz Pop-up class.  We also thank the City of Bellevue for the support of our programming.
