Label Clothing and Lunch boxes
|
Please make sure you label
ALL of your child's jackets and lunch boxes with their
first and
last name.
We take thousands of dollars worth of lost items to charity organizations each year.
If your child's item has a name on it, it is much more likely that it will find its way back.
We will continue to donate all unlabeled articles at the end of each month.

Message from the Principal
"When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the LORD your God for the good land he has given you."
Deuteronomy 8:10
|
Dear Parents,
Welcome to November and the beginning of the holiday season!
Some of my best memories as a child came around our family dinner table. I cherish the stories my father shared about his upbringing and experience as an immigrant to America. I loved hearing my mom share stories from her childhood in Seattle and her move to Santa Cruz as a teenager. These, and many other stories, happened around the kitchen table.

Re Enrollment and Financial Assistance |
|
February will be our "month of re-enrollment." The re-enrollment site will open
February 1, 2019
. Please look for further information in the weeks to come that will outline the steps for re-enrollment.
Important Dates for Financial Assistance
:
Financial Assistance Website Opens: November 25, 2019
Financial Assistance Application Deadline: February 7, 2020
Valley Christian Schools strives to offer quality education to students of all economic backgrounds. Tuition assistance is available to students accepted for admission with demonstrated financial need. It is the desire of school administration, subject to the availability of funds, to give all qualified students, regardless of financial resources, the opportunity to attend Valley Christian Schools.
Please note that the financial assistance process is completely separate from the re-enrollment process. The amount of financial assistance is granted on the basis of demonstrated financial need. Although Valley Christian Schools is committed to assisting families, it can only award financial assistance to the extent resources are available. Consequently, not all students who might otherwise qualify will receive financial assistance.
Those seeking financial assistance must submit applications for financial assistance on an annual basis prior to the application deadline.
The process requires going to VCS's third-party evaluation partner (FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment) to complete an application and supply all requested information at
https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3F6D3.
Click here for additional information regarding financial assistance.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
