Greetings!
2019 has continued as a year of fast and furious change and movement forward! While we watch our community Education and Volunteer Programs grow, we also encounter new challenges that help us to continue to improve and better serve our community. With new volunteers joining the VCFD family, I have watched many of our seasoned volunteers stepping in to train and mentor our incoming helpers, along with our newest members coming in with a fresh set of eyes, offering a new perspective on process improvements.
As we all work collaboratively to come up with new ideas, and implement new procedures, I see a unified team that not only works well together, but also works to make our program better, and represent VCFD in the best light.
