Dear High School Families,
Unbelievably, it is the fourth quarter! From what I have witnessed, it would seem that our Seniors are counting the days. We are in end of the year form, as we intend to finish strongly. I have had the opportunity to visit most of our teachers recently, and am excited by our staff's commitment to Christian education and a rigorous environment. Last year, our students posted our highest AP results in our school's history, and I anticipate another strong showing as the classes begin to narrow the focus. College acceptances, letters of intent and career decisions are becoming known, and we will begin to highlight such accomplishments in upcoming newsletters. In athletics, our third athletic team of the year competed in a Sectional competition, as our Varsity Men's Basketball earned a Sectional Championship! A full array of spring sports are underway, and we have added varsity swimming this year. Please come out and support your Falcons!
I have written about it previously, but I am excited about Nathan Talley, the Spiritual Development Director from Monte Vista Christian School, who came to visit classes and chapels, and met with students, staff and parents. As a Christian high school, it our primary objective that students would consider following Christ and growing in their relationship. We want to continue to improve in this area!
In His Service,
Joseph Rowland
MS/HS Principal

Tonight, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, we'll be hosting an Athletics Open House in the multi-purpose room. During that meeting, you'll hear the vision for the future of athletics at VCS and also learn more about our current programs. You'll also have an opportunity to meet our coaches. Please tell others who don't currently attend VCS to come - this is for new families as well as current families. Encourage others to stop in and learn about all that VCS athletics has to offer!

How does it work? Refer a new family to VCS. When the new family enrolls for the 2019-2020 school year, the referring family (that's you!) and the new family will each receive $1000 credit for the 2019-2020 school year, towards their tuition. You can refer up to five (5) families in one school year. The $1000 credit is off your total tuition, not per child.
