Show of Hands: Are you coming to our "Run for the Village" event?
Do you intend to come out to the VCP grounds for our "Run for the Village" on November 17, not to run/walk , but to cheer on others and partake in the post-race festivities (food trucks, music, vendor booths, kids activities, etc.)?

If so, please click here to take our short survey so we can plan for our additional guests.

BULLETIN BOARD: UPDATES & NOTES OF APPRECIATION
The VCP's Grace Pavilion has been ordered from local company RCP Shelters --engineering is in progress! Thanks to Bob Ritter, Bryce Ritter, & the RCP team for partnering with us to stay on budget AND deliver on a beautiful, spacious pavilion.

Community Building: The image in this section is of the front elevation of our community building! Electric & structural plans are in the process of being finalized.

Equipment Building : The only existing enclosed structure on the property, a small equipment building on the north side of the property, has undergone a transformation in the last several weeks thanks to the hard work of several amazing and dedicated volunteers. A new roof to replace the blue tarp is coming soon!

"Run for the Village" 5K & Fun Run Event: Over $13,500 in sponsorship donations (from 40+ area businesses) and participant registration fees has been raised for our upcoming "Run for the Village" 5K & Fun Walk/Run. We can't wait for a fantastic morning of fitness, fun, and friends!

Our thanks to neighbor and architect, Raul Ocampo , for his pro bono work on our master plan. Be among the first to see the renderings as we reveal them at our November 17 event!

Owner of Noble Property Services , Joshua Herrero , was recently driving by the property and made a point to contact us with an offer to offer pressure washing services, at no cost, anywhere it was needed. Noble did a preliminary clean-up for our upcoming event and plans to provide complementary ongoing maintenance of our pool deck and other surfaces.

We now have a neighborhood coffee shop! Two Parrots Coffee & Bakery has set up shop in the Golf Clubhouse and is now open, serving the community. Owners Paul and Dan Bettencourt will be providing free coffee to attendees at our "Run for the Village" AND will be hosting a brunch at The Clubhouse from 10am-1pm on Saturday, November 17, giving back 15% of all food sales to The Village Club & Preserve. Our thanks for their support!

Stuart Roofing reached out to us last spring with an offer to provide roofs for our buildings at-cost. They have provided us with a quote for excellent pricing for our equipment building, pavilion, and community building. Thanks to the Turner Family and Extreme Metal Fabricators for helping us stretch our budget as we build.
Matching Gifts--Does Your Company Participate?
Did you know that many companies offer a matching gift program to encourage philanthropy among their employees? Some companies even match gifts by spouses and retirees. By simply completing a matching gift form (paper or online), you may be able to double, or even triple, the impact of the gift you've already made to the VCP.

Click here to access Double the Donation to see if your company participates in a matching gift program.
