2018 Inaugural "Run for the Village" 5K & Fun Run
Registration is officially open for the 2018 Inaugural Run for the Village 5K & Fun Run, to be held on November 17!

While it may be our first year, we are engaging with Fleet Feet and Mike Melton of MCM Timing for a well-organized, chipped, and timed run. For those who are NOT big runners, please know that all ages and paces are welcome!

Beyond the 5K (3.1 mile) loop, we will have an approximately half mile track directly around the VCP property for a kids fun run. Please spread the word to friends and family in the area (registration is open to the greater Martin County community) and come out for a fun morning, complete with food trucks and music as the event wraps up.

We'd love to see a fantastic showing of our Friends of the Village as we come together and enjoy time with friends for the first time on our property!

Sponsorship Opportunities: "First Pass" to our Friends of the Village

Before our committee launches our efforts to secure sponsorship in the greater community, we want to give our faithful supporters the first opportunity to secure those key sponsorship positions which will garner the greatest publicity.

We are seeking a single title sponsor ($2,000) and (2) main start/finish line sponsors ($1,000), in addition to unlimited premier ($500) and mile marker/water station ($250) sponsors. We also have spots available at $150 and $100 to sponsor the kids fun run. For more detail on how our sponsors will be recognized at different levels, click HERE for our Sponsorship Package.

Contact us this week if you or your business is interested in sponsoring our run!

A WORK IN PROGRESS: POOLS PREPPED FOR RESTORATION
Over the last several weeks, Colin VanCampen and the Pool Professional Services team have been prepping the pools for restoration--chipping off loose and bubbling plaster and removing cracked and broken tile.

New tile is on order and pressure testing, the process of testing lines and equipment, will begin soon.
Join the Team: Next Community Workday this Weekend
Date: Saturday, September 8, 2018
Time: 8 - 10:30am

We have a few special projects we'll be working on this Saturday--clearing, mulching, and planting. Bring a golf cart and plan to help haul debris or bring water to our workers; your gloves and tools to make an impact on an area of your choice; or just stop by to encourage your neighbors and say "hello." Children over the age of eight are welcome, as long as they stay close to their parent or guardian as they help. Thanks in advance to the many of you who have already signed up!

If you plan to come during our "cool" morning workday hours, p lease click here to complete the Community Day Volunteer Form so we know you’re coming!
Know somebody who would like to be added to our distribution list?
