Greetings from the Board

The VCS Board of Directors would like to thank all our families who have re-enrolled for the 2018-2019 school year! Your commitment and support of a Christ-centered education at VCS is inspiring. We also appreciate the parent inquiries we have received seeking a better understanding of the VCS Board of Directors vision for strengthening our overall program.

Our foremost goal is to ensure an ongoing and inspirational “Diapers to Diploma” experience for our students, as we look ahead at celebrating 43 years in the community. Please join us on Tuesday, February 20 ^th at 6:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room for a Parent Open Forum where we will discuss our goals for the 2018-2019 school year, as well as our commitment to seeing Friday Night Lights return to Falcon Field in 2018-2019 .

Parent Open Forum and Head of School Search

The VCS Board and Administration will hold a Parent Forum on Tuesday, February 20th at 6:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room to share goals for the 2018-2019 school year, update parents on the progress of our search for Head of School and answer questions. This meeting will be held in place of the school’s regularly scheduled Board Meeting.

The VCS Board of Directors Head of School Search Committee has selected an Advisory sub-committee. Committee members will be introduced at the Parent Forum and we will discuss where we are with applicants and the next steps.

We ask everyone to continue praying over this process and for the Lord to illuminate the next leader of VCS to the committee. Please continue to communicate with the Board through [email protected] with any suggestions or questions.

Priority Re-Enrollment Extended

The Board of Directors has extended the Priority Enrollment date to Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at the same discounted rate of $250. We would like to give all our families the opportunity to have their questions answered regarding programs and leadership for the 2018-2019 school year. We encourage parents to join us on Tuesday, February 20th at 6pm in the Multi-Purpose Room for the Parent Open Forum .

For your convenience, families that have not re-enrolled will receive a second instructional email message providing the re-enrollment link and your enrollment code. Please remember you will also need your Smart Tuition statement to re-enroll. Your statement will contain your secure Smart ID#.

Please Note: Middle and High School class scheduling is done on a first received re-enrollment basis and students must be re-enrolled to submit a preferred schedule for the 2018-2019 school year. Course offerings for Middle and High School will be decided by the principal based on the number of students enrolled.
