Dear Vacaville Christian Community -
One of our goals this year is to do a better job telling the story of what makes a VCS education so meaningful. There are so many wonderful things happening across our campus every day, including strong academics, intentional Christian formation, small class sizes, excellent teachers, safe and healthy school culture, athletics, fine arts, leadership opportunities, and the kind of community where students are truly known and supported. We want to communicate that story more consistently, not only to prospective families, but also to our current families who are living this story with us.
New Podcast Series: Choosing a School with Ben Davis
As part of that effort, I have launched a new podcast series called Choosing a School with Ben Davis. In addition to Choosing a School, we’ve also launched Inside the VCS Experience, and both are available anywhere you listen to podcasts. The goal of the Choosing a School series is to help families think wisely about one of the most important decisions they make: where their children should go to school. This past week, I had the opportunity to sit down with the Parker family, who joined VCS last year, to hear about their experience, why they chose VCS, and what stood out to them during their first year in our community. I’m grateful for their willingness to share their story, and I think their reflections will be an encouragement to both current and prospective families.
