Message from the Head of School

Dear Vacaville Christian Community,

Join us for some upcoming events! Tomorrow (Saturday), at Lagoon Valley here in Vacaville, our boys and girls cross country team will be competing in a unique local run. Our VCHS football team will also take on Woodland Christian at their field tomorrow (Saturday) at 7pm - come on out and cheer them on!

Next Friday night, September 8th, we’ll be hosting Military and First Responders Appreciation Night, as our VCHS football team takes on St. Pats / St. Vincents, with a 7pm kickoff. Be sure to come out in honor of our service men and women, as well as our local first responders.

As we close the second full week of the school year, I’m reminded of an encouraging Bible verse (Romans 15:13), where Paul says, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” I pray that our VCS community will trust in the Lord this year and see the fruit of joy and peace pervade this entire campus. I hope that all VCS families are able to enjoy a restful Labor Day weekend. As a reminder, the VCS campus will be closed on Monday, September 4th, in observance of the holiday.

Missions Opportunities

Service and missions work is going to be a fundamental part of what we do at VCS. When students engage in service to others (and kingdom focused missions), not only does it broaden the message of the Gospel, but students learn "service over self". They become Christ-centered, servant leaders, prepared to influence our community.
