On Wednesday, our boy’s and girl’s track teams participated in the section championship in Stockton. Every athlete achieved a personal record, working hard and representing VCS well! Our Lady Falcons softball team secured a spot in the playoffs, which begin on Monday. On Thursday evening, our fifth grade students participated in the Amerikids performance at First Baptist Church. This was an event that celebrated our western heritage as Americans, with our students sharing about values such as liberty, truth, and an appreciation of our military.

Tomorrow night, our juniors and seniors will be participating in the annual junior/senior banquet. This will serve as a phenomenal opportunity to both honor and recognize our students. Over the course of the next couple of weeks, all 4th - 12th grade students at VCS will be participating in anonymous surveys which will provide them an opportunity to share feedback, allowing us to continue to improve our education at VCS. I value the feedback of our students and look forward to hearing their insights, in addition to learning about how they’ve grown during their time at VCS.

Next week, on Friday, May 17th, I will have the pleasure of hosting a table with Vacaville’s Mayor, Ron Rowlett, at the 2nd Annual ESPY Awards Dinner. As Falcons, we stand for loyalty, fearlessness, wisdom, and nobility, especially in our athletics program. Student participation in athletics creates spiritual growth, opportunities, friendships, and more. This event will honor our athletes from Elementary to High School.
