BILLINGS, MT (July 6, 2022) – Through the generosity of the Offutt Family Foundation, Veterans Navigation Network (VNN) in partnership with RDO Equipment Co., is holding a Veteran Resource & Career Fair on October 8, 2022, from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm at the Metra Park Montana Pavilion. The event will provide benefit, service, and resource information for military personnel, veterans, and their families.
“Veterans Navigation Network improves the quality of life for our veterans and their families. America can never repay the debt we owe our armed forces for their service and sacrifice. However, the October 8th Veteran Resource & Career Fair will allow us to express our gratitude and honor their service,” said Mike McManus, Program Coordinator, Veterans Navigation Network, Senior Master Sergeant (retired), USAF, County Veteran Service Officer (retired).
The event will provide military personnel, veterans, and their families information on a variety of federal and state Veterans Affairs benefits and local resources from government agencies, faith-based and nonprofit organizations. The career fair is open to all and is meant to provide a venue beneficial to those looking to start a new career or looking for a fresh opportunity as well for area employers. It will also include concessions, informational seminars, and a fun activities for the kids.

ABOUT VETERANS NAVIGATION NETWORK - Former Army Ranger Blake Fuhriman founded Veterans Navigation Network (VNN) in October 2019 with the goal of meeting the transition needs of every Montana veteran. We do this by facilitating the transition from military service to civilian life through resource navigation and peer mentorship. There are numerous federal and state VA benefits and a wealth of nonprofit, faith-based, and local government services veterans are eligible for, that can improve their quality of life, but only if the veteran is aware of the resources.
Assistance includes healthcare resources, behavioral health options, employment, legal, education, homeless and suicide prevention, referrals for equine therapy and canine service animal training, assistance with VA disability compensation claims, discharge upgrades, survivor benefits, and much more.
