As members of the U.S. Senate discuss how to pay for infrastructure investments, one idea circulating is that undistributed Provider Relief Funds could be used for this purpose. This would obviously be devastating to providers waiting for additional distribution of these funds to battle COVID-19.
Sen. Mark Warner urgently needs to hear from Virginia’s long term care providers about how these funds should not be diverted to pay for infrastructure projects—especially when you still need all the tools you can muster to fight new variants of COVID-19.
