And the Winner is....
We are proud to announce that Ocean Beutter, a rising eighth grade Hamilton student is the Wisconsin winner of the 2020 Doodle for Google contest! That means her drawing is one of 54 doodles that will advance to the next round, in which five national finalists will be chosen. We are excited for Ocean and proud of her accomplishments! The Google artwork shown here is Ocean's winning entry. You can help Ocean become one of the five finalists by visiting the website that can be accessed via the below Vote for Ocean link. Voting takes place Monday, August 17 through Friday, August 21. Thank you!!

This past week we held an evening Zoom parent meeting for the purpose of updating parents on our Hamilton plan for starting the year in a completely online environment. 5th Annual Black Restaurant Week
LeBron James recently said that the Black Lives Matter movement has to be more than a movement, and instead become a "walk of life." I encourage our entire community to participate in this week's 5th Annual Black Restaurant Week as a way to take a step in our walk of life that honors and celebrates Black lives! Enrollment Now Open for the 2020-2021 School Year
If you have received this newsletter, then you most likely have received enrollment information sent directly from our district's Enrollment Office. The enrollment window is now open and you can start and complete the enrollment process at the below link as enrollment this year is 100% virtual.

Families new to the Hamilton attendance area will need to complete the added step of contacting our Hamilton main office to verify your child's enrollment.

Our social work team has created a summer resource guide available in English and Spanish. It has information about rent assistance, mental health, child care, and more during this era of pandemic.  Please click below to access the information.
