Saying goodbye to our students.

Final 22-23 Newsletter Notes

By John Burkholder, Your Principal

We have come a long way since my first newsletter on August 30, 2019, a rough-hewn first edition with orange accents and a total of two photos that were of plants on our campus. My intent was never to do a full weekly newsletter, but I soon realized across those first weeks of my tenure as principal that there were far too many great things at Hamilton to ignore, and the full weekly newsletter came to life in colors that are hopefully easier on the eyes.

There will be one more newsletter for the current school year in the coming week or so, a photos only edition that is simply a look back at the 22-23 school year. After the final edition hits inboxes, contact emails will roll up to 23-24 enrollment and as such, 8th grade families will no longer receive communication from Hamilton Middle, unless of course you continue to have a student enrolled on our campus for the coming school year.

West High Grads Return!

This week, many students graduating from West High who also attended Hamilton and Van Hise returned to our hallways to the thunderous cheers of our students! The grads formed a processional that began in the hallway at Van Hise outside the kindergarten rooms, and then made its way through the Hamilton hallways. Best wishes West Grads! We are so very proud of you!!
