2023 Hamilton Spelling Bee

Congratulations to all Hamilton students who participated in this year's Spelling Bee. In addition, a virtual high five to students who advanced on from their classroom bees to the recently held school bee. Pictured below left to right are our school bee finalists: Freya (winner), and Lexi and Rachel who tied for second place. Congratulation to these three students for this achievement! Freya will move on to represent Hamilton Middle at the All City Bee on February 18.

6th Grade Band Concert

Our Hamilton Middle 6th grade band students had their first concert of the year this week. The concert was delayed due to the snow day on December 15. What we may have lost in timeliness was more than made up for in enthusiasm from this large group of students, their teacher Jim Kyle, and the bleachers filled with families. Elvis was even in the house!

Pasta!

A big thanks to Ms. Kris Bauer, long-time Hamilton teacher now retired, for filling in this year in our 8th grade Culinary Arts classes! It has been wonderful that Kris has been able to keep this program going this year, teaching students important culinary lessons that they will keep with them for their life times! Recently, the focus was on pasta making (and eating)!
