Students will then need to add the SYNC program’s library. Here are the steps:
  1. In Sora, open the menu (in the top-right corner).
  2. Select Add library.
  3. Search for audiobooksync and select the library from the results.
  4. Enter the email address you used to sign up for SYNC.
No Food Deliveries For Students
During the pandemic, we all got a little better at navigating food deliveries to our homes. Apparently, the same is true for many of our students. Please know that students are not allowed to arrange for food deliveries to the school from local restaurants during the school day. These deliveries often result in our Hamilton Middle staff members having to function as intermediary delivery people, pulling them away from their assigned duties. In addition, at times students are arranging for food to be delivered directly to them on our playground during recess. We can not have our students interacting with random adult delivery people on our playground at any time during the school day. Food delivered to school in this manner will be held in the office for parent retrieval.
Suspicious Contact Follow Up
In follow up to the communication from earlier this week regarding suspicious adult contact with juveniles in a location near Hamilton Middle: Please know that MPD was able to contact the individual of concern in this case and it was determined that there was no threat to the public. As usual, please continue to have ongoing conversations with your children about trusting their own feelings when it comes to feeling uncomfortable, scared, or confused with regard to unknown adults. Students need to be clear on their regular route to and from school, along with knowing safe places where they can go for help.
