We are through Day 2 of the 4-day Virtual Show, and wanted to provide a mid-show update.
 
Thank you for your continued feedback & input over the past few days. It is genuinely appreciated as we have been focused on managing and providing help to thousands of people, (who are all learning a new process and virtual platform).
 
As of tonight at show closing:

Registration by Attendees: 12,246 (# of individual people who have registered to attend the show).

Attended Unique: 7,225 (# of individual people who have attended the show so far, counted ONE time even if they attended multiple times.)

Total Attendance: 9,733 (# of attendees cumulative; this is comparative to attendees who come to the in-person show more than once)

Virtual Show Page Views: 296,401

Seminars have proven to be highly engaging with an attendance of 3,381 (# of attendees viewing and participating in seminars over the first two days. Attendees in this statistic are counted each time they attend a unique seminar)
 
The show's advertising and public relations campaign will continue until the end of the show. We expect registration and attendance #'s will continue to increase as we head into the final two show days.

Yesterday, was “opening day” for the Virtual Vancouver Boat Show, the first major trade and consumer event in Western Canada.

Members of the working media were invited to attend a 'media availability' session for the Show, and interest was STRONG! With coverage in the Vancouver Sun making FRONT PAGE NEWS and an excellent segment featured on Global News.

Consumer Feedback For Boat Dealers

As we close out Day 2 of the Show, we continue to field comments and questions from the attendees from our social feeds and direct email.

For the most part, feedback and comments from the (virtually) attending public have been favorable however we are seeing the topic of 'boat prices' becoming a recurring theme.

If you are a dealer / broker with boat product uploaded in your booth, it has been suggested by show guests to encourage exhibitors to include a 'price' on each vessel and product listed in your booths.

Feedback suggests that adding a 'price' will better assist attendees to shop and compare for their purchase.

We understand why some dealers do not list prices; we communicate to the public to help them better understand the structure and wide range of a boat's price depending on engine size, add-ons etc. If a specific price is not possible for you to post, attendees would appreciate a price-range listed with the boat model to assist them in their research.

Login under "My Account" on the Live Site
Click on Exhibitor Control Centre
 
Booth Stats and Leads are available in real-time under the Booth Stats Tab.
Make Sure To Add Keywords to Your Company Details & Products!
You can still add products and edit your booth!

In your 'Details' tab, please be as descriptive as possible, using as many keywords that you can. This will help the platform's search functionality locate the products your business carries.

Please also do the same in the description of the products, features, and specials that you upload.

Please note that any changes you make in your BoothBuilder will show on the Live Site after a two hour cache delay.

When can I upload my staff image?
You can load staff photos starting now. Your photo/image should be square (even sides) - for example: width and height 250x250. If you need help cropping, here is a free image cropper
 
My product will not save?
·        Ensure you have added one primary image and a URL
·        Make sure your images are within 500x333 pixels and less than 250kb
·        Make sure you hit save
 
How do I change my main ‘contact us’ email address?

I made changes in my BoothBuilder; why are they not showing on the live show site?
Changes made in your booth builder will take two hours to reflect on the show site as part of the caching process
 
I can’t see my company logo?
You logo must be:           
·        Smaller than 300pixels wide
·        Be less than 1MB in size
·        Be a file type of jpg/png/gif
 
My product image is distorted
·        You must resize your image to jpg file under 250kb and 500x333 pixels
 
Can I log in as an exhibitor and attendee?
·        You must register as an Exhibitor and an Attendee using a separate/unique email address for each. One for ‘being an attendee’ and one for ‘being a staff/booth worker’

Stats are available in 'real time'.

After the show closes each day what happens?
The site is live 24/7 for 6 months. The live features and exhibitors at their spaces will only be available during show hours. The public can continue to send emails outside of show hours.
