Dear Barrington 220 Community,

Before the 2024-25 school year ends, I wanted to share the last episode of my video series, All in 220

Back in August, we held our opening day for staff members. During this event, I talked to staff about what makes Barrington 220 #ThePlaceToB and how I believe one of the secret ingredients to our success, or “secret sauce” is the dedication of our staff. For my All in 220 series this year, I’ve had an absolute blast teaming up with our students to surprise staff members who make Barrington 220 #ThePlaceToB. For the sixth and final episode, I sat down with Benice, a senior at Barrington High School, who says that Jennifer Robinson, Assistant Principal of Student Support, is the “secret sauce” that makes BHS such a special place.

Mrs. Robinson has worked at BHS since 2005, taking on various roles including Dean, Special Education Teacher, Program Administrator of the Alternative Pathways Program, and Assistant Principal of Student Support. I want to thank Mrs. Robinson for always making BHS #ThePlaceToB for our students.

In addition, I want to say a final thank you to a few BHS students who helped “spice up” my video series this year! BHS culinary student Esbeiry Lopez made the secret sauce I presented to each staff member in all six episodes. BHS graphic design students Grace Barger and Sabrina Collette helped design the label on the sauce jar.
