Dear Barrington 220 Community, 

If you’ve attended the annual homecoming parade in the fall, Winter Wonderfest at BHS, or countless other school and district wide events, you have probably admired performances of the dancers dressed in the vibrant folklorico dresses. These dancers are BHS students who are members of the Latin American New Roots Dance Club. 

I recently had the chance to visit one of their after-school practices at BHS, where I surprised the club founder, Nora Carranza, a retired D220 staff member and current resident of Hoffman Estates.
