Annual Board of Directors and All Member Meeting

IPBC Annual Meeting Survey-Attendee Feedback–Fill out form

There were 201 IPBC members who attended the meeting; 164 in person, and 37 virtually. Seventeen IPBC Vendor Partners also attended, and 15 provided $26,500 in sponsorships that covered event costs. Visit this link for meeting highlights and a recap of actions taken by the Board of Directors (BOD).

BCBSIL & Prime Healthcare Negotiations Update

The following information applies to all markets: Prime Healthcare notified Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) that their hospitals will leave the network, effective June 1, 2026. However, in an update to previous communications, the doctors and other health care professionals in the Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group will not be affected at this time and intend to remain in network.

Final Renewal:

July 1, 2026-January 1, 2027

The final renewal for July 1, 2026, and January 1, 2027, was approved by the Board of Directors at the annual All Member Meeting on March 19, 2026. Both renewals can be found here.

Open Enrollment Deadlines

April 3: Rate Sheets provided to Members. Instructions on how to include the splits are included with rate sheet

April 6 – May 1: Guided Renewal Process is in PlanSource, completed by IPBC Service Team Representative.

April 10: Completed Member Rate Splits and Current Payroll Calendar due to IPBC (within 5 days of receiving Rate Sheet)

April 15: RxSaveCard Decisions Deadline

Wellness Program

Tier Checklist

If your wellness screenings are completed, it is never to early to submit your Wellness Program Tier Checklist! You can review the wellness incentive packages and checklist here.

As a reminder: All submissions must be received no later than June 15. The submission should be sent to your IPBC Service Team Benefit Consultant. Thank you!

Call For Volunteer Committee &
Task Force Members

The IPBC is need of volunteers for the below opportunities. The deadline to submit your interest is April 30, 2026.

Finance Committee: Meets four times a year, consists of 15 Members including IPBC Treasurer, six Members from each of the voting tiers and eight Members selected at-large.
Operations Committee: Meets four times a year, there are 15 Members including an appointed Chair, six Members from each of the voting tiers and eights Members selected at-large.
Membership Committee (formerly Membership Development): Meets four times a year with a minimum of seven members, including an appointed Chair and six members from each voting Tier.
Task Force on Prescription Drug RFP: The Task Force will include IPBC members and staff and our Alera consultants. It will begin meeting in August, interview the finalists selected and make a recommendation on the award of the RFP no later than mid-September.
