Physician survey updates begin with You Spoke. We Listened.

In response to feedback received last spring from the annual physician survey conducted in collaboration with the American Medical Association (AMA), HMFP is pleased to launch, You Spoke. We Listened.

The series will run through May, and address 13 priorities in the following four categories: Administrative Reduction, Professional Development, Communications, and Benefits & Wellness. Here are the first two actions taken by HMFP to improve the physician experience both at work, and home.

Expense reimbursement simplified

Implementation of the expense reimbursement Workday application was added to address this need, and includes the following key benefits and features:

  • All payroll related data now exist on a single platform.
  • Access to current or past expense reimbursements is provided.
  • Physicians may enter their own expense reimbursement requests, or delegate the function to the administrative team.
  • Supporting documentation may now be uploaded via the mobile app.

Wellness coaching program established

A personal health coaching program is now available to all employees and their family members, whether or not you are covered under HMFP's Harvard Pilgrim Medical Plan. Contact the health coach line at (877) 594-7177. In addition, Spring Health, open to all benefits-eligible employees, also provides coaching.
