Get another nurse to check/validate medication with you.
Read message pop-ups when medication is scanned, don’t just override, be alert to the message on the screen!
Your employer is doing a look-back period of up to 6 months to see the frequency of overriding meds, the type of med, and any patterns.
If you are having any technical problem or med error issues (medication incorrect in system) follow the hospital's policy & procedures document in nursing notes and send a message via email/text.
