As this public health crisis ramps up once again, it is imperative that management ensure a safe working environment for all our members! That includes Safe Staffing, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensuring management follows all health & safety guidelines as prescribed by OSHA and the Department of Health.
JNESO is aware that management at your facility telling members that they will be moving their shifts.
IN RESPONSE, JNESO HAS ISSUED A CEASE AND DESIST ORDER FOR MANAGEMENT TO STOP CHANGING MEMBERS' SHIFTS!
If you feel management is sending you to a unit outside of your float block and you do not feel competent to deliver safe patient care, please put management on notice in writing, by text, or email. Let them know you do not feel competent to work in that unit.
