Dear FJG Family,
Happy Spring! This month, I would like to give special recognition to some of the remarkable individuals who fill our company - our Operations Team. Due to their exceptional level of professionalism and communication, these team members make it possible to add new properties to our management portfolio, the latest being Baker Crossing in Virginia Beach and Village at The Arbors in Richmond.

I would also like to personally congratulate 14 of our team members who have been promoted within TFJG this month: Arista Lueck, Britney Holder, Chris Weathers, Courtney Schachtner, Dan Thomas, Gabe Campbell, Ina Dickens, Jeff Pitzer, Mike Ellrich, Neily Maldanado, Niketa Washington, Rosalind Alexander, Sally Oertle and Shaun Gibbs. Lastly, TFJG is currently looking for individuals to join the Culture Committee. This committee allows team members to voice their opinions and share ideas that will help sustain our positive culture within each of our regions. I highly recommend you take the opportunity to join this wonderful group.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend and in honor of March Madness, my favorite legend, Michael Jordan, once said, "Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships."

Sincerely,

TFJG Speaks to Students at ODU Strome College of Business, E.V. Williams Center for Real Estate ODU
TFJG team members, Angie Lombardi (VP of Marketing) and Courtney Strait (HR Generalist) talked to the students of the ODU Strome College of Business, E.V. Williams Center for Real Estate this week about "The Future of Apartment Home Living". They spent about 45 minutes with the students talking about TFJG's mission and core values, company culture, internship opportunities, and finally intern testimonials. At the end, many of the students had questions about real estate and property management as an industry. They asked a few questions about what makes TFJG stand out against other companies and the ladies were able to go into our culture and the standard that we set for each of our properties. Courtney Strait, said, "It was really fun and lots of students came up after to introduce themselves and talk about potential opportunities."

Accounting Team Outing at Top Golf - Virginia BeachAccounting
The accounting department is the heart of our company. Their main responsibilities include producing accurate and timely financial reports, managing accounts payable, bank and petty cash reconciliations, preparing and maintaining general ledgers, escrow balances, and providing continuous support to the site teams and to each department. Their altruistic spirit for camaraderie in the work place is evident as each person on the team expresses their gratitude for each other. TFJG Controller, Ronda Coleman, rewarded the team with an afternoon away from the office at Top Golf in Virginia Beach. "Having the team together is a great morale booster and promotes a positive balance at work. They know the meaning of working hard" - Ronda Coleman.
Tidewater Friends of Foster Care Birthday Project "Adopt a Month"
Children in the foster care system face trials and tribulations that most of us cannot fathom. For many of these children, their birthdays are not always a happy time due to their unfortunate circumstances. The Franklin Johnston Group corporate office was proud to support this project and help bring hope and joy to the children of Tidewater on their birthdays by gathering their birthday wishes. Each department (Accounting, Marketing, IT, Development, and Management Operations) divided into five groups and each group bought gifts for the 5 children. TFJG looks forward to doing it again next year! Birthday
