VISTA MATTERS: New Activities and Updates

VISTA Gardens New Years Potluck

A message from Social Chair, Laurie Kleiner

I’d like to thank all who were able to attend the Potluck party on Sunday, Jan 6. I think it was a huge success and was glad to see so many people there, both new and old members. The weather was fabulous, the food delicious and it was a great chance to socialize with our fellow gardeners. The button below takes you to a photo album of our lovely day.

I would like to plan another event, perhaps in March or April, possibly at a restaurant, or a bike ride, but am open to suggestions. Please feel free to send me your ideas! ( Click to email)

Dumpster Update

Please do not throw trash in the dumpster located in the parking area. The dumpster does not belong to VISTA and has specific limitations on what can placed inside. The contractor that pays for the dumpster has recently been fined for improper materials. There are trash cans in the main garden where you can dispose of your weeds and plant matter that is not appropriate for the compost pile. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
