VISTE’s 26th Annual Thanksgiving Meal Delivery

Join us for VISTE’s 26th Annual Thanksgiving Meal Delivery and help brighten the holidays for seniors in need! This family-friendly event is a local tradition and helps kick off the holiday season. There are numerous ways to participate and to help! Prior to the event we hold the Green Bean Snap and “Operation Cranberry.”
On the morning of the event, volunteers prep and pack Thanksgiving meals at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland. In the afternoon, hundreds of volunteer drivers pick up the meals and other treats (using convenient drive-through lanes) and deliver 2,000 Thanksgiving meals with all the trimmings, a live poinsettia, and other treats to grateful VISTE clients.
THANK YOU to everyone who helps make this annual event a success, including volunteers, community and service groups, local businesses, and individual supporters – we couldn’t do it without YOU! Special thanks to our Thanksgiving event sponsors: GEICO, T. Mims Corp., and Mosaic.

Thanksgiving Meals

Volunteers will deliver Thanksgiving meals with all the trimmings, plus a beautiful live poinsettia to seniors. The cost for a Thanksgiving meal
is $15.

Holiday Personal
Care Boxes
|
Every December VISTE volunteers pack and deliver 400 boxes filled to the brim with personal care items for seniors in need. The cost for each box is $25.

Thanksgiving Meal Delivery volunteers needed! Volunteer with family, friends, or colleagues. Drivers must register by 11/15 to deliver meals.
Green Bean Snap – Nov. 21.
Operation Cranberry Donations – Now through 11/15. Drop off 14 oz. cans of cranberry sauce at VISTE, M-F, 8am-4pm.
