Greetings in the New Year! This year will be a milestone event as we celebrate the 20th Annual VISTEBall. The unique, indoor, golf-themed event is fun for golfers and NON-golfers alike! No black ties needed... dress comfortably in casual attire. 

There's LOTS to enjoy at VISTEBall, including food, drinks, silent auction items, a wheelbarrow of cheer, and plenty of games and prizes. This year’s event will feature 2 golf simulators, new non-golf games, new food offerings, and a DJ. Whether you’ve been before or this is your first time, you’ll find something new at this year’s VISTEBall!

New Games, Food Offerings, and More

VISTE’s signature annual fundraising event will take place at the SUN ‘n FUN Expo Campus in Lakeland on Saturday, February 1 from 6:00-9:30pm. The golf-themed extravaganza features games, prizes, an Online Auction, the Wheelbarrow of Cheer, a $10,000 long putt challenge, and much more! Enjoy complimentary beer, wine, and Margaritas throughout the evening – plus a dinner buffet featuring popular local restaurants - all included in the $75/person ticket price! Dress is “golf casual.” And it’s for a great cause - helping local seniors in need!

Welcome Kayla McClenthen!

Volunteer Manager

We are pleased to extend a warm VISTE welcome to Kayla McClenthen, VISTE’s new Volunteer Manager! Originally from Machesney Park, IL, Kayla also lived in Texas, Kentucky, and Tennessee before relocating to Lakeland in 2023. She holds a BS degree in Management Studies and an MBA with a focus in Project Management from Rockford University.

Call for VISTEBall Volunteers!

VISTEBall is the premier annual fundraising event for Volunteers in Service to the Elderly – all for a great cause! We’re looking for volunteers who are interested in assisting. Sign up to help make this event spectacular!

• Thursday 1/30/25 | Set up for event, 3 shifts (8am-noon / noon-5pm / 5-8pm)

• Friday 1/31/25 | Set up for event, 3 shifts (8am-noon / noon-5pm / 5-8pm)

• Saturday 2/1/25 | Set up & decorating (During the day)

• Saturday 2/1/25 | Wait staff, table bussers & more (During the event)

• Saturday 2/1/25 | Clean-up & Packing (Immediately after event)

• Sunday 2/2/25 | Final cleanup (Afternoon after event)

Steve Madden

We are pleased to take this opportunity to spotlight our talented, longtime Board member, Steve Madden! Among many other achievements, Steve is credited with being the creative vision behind what has become VISTE’s signature annual fundraising event. This popular golf-themed extravaganza raises funds, friends, and awareness for VISTE’s mission. Thanks to Steve’s vision, event committee members, sponsors, volunteers, and generous community support, VISTEBall has now raised over $4 million to benefit local seniors in need!
