Volunteer Lawyers Birmingham and the YWCA of Central Alabama partnered together to train attorneys on domestic violence issues. Our speakers, Annetta Nunn, YWCA Community Outreach Coordinator, and Courtney Cross, Director of the Domestic Violence Clinic at the University of Alabama, spoke to 59 attorneys about the issues of domestic violence and the need for these victims to have legal representation.
