Starting February 16th, ShowingTime for the MLS Core will be available 24/7 to all members courtesy of the Vail Board of REALTORS®! Discover how you can use this showing appointment tool to save time, generate more showings and help you sell your listings more efficiently. To get ready, please join us for a brief, 30-minute online webinar where you'll learn how to:

  • Use the 'Schedule a Showing' link to request showings on other agents' listings.
  • Add showing instructions and determine the best settings for each of your listings to begin receiving online showing requests.
  • Set your notification preferences, including 2-way text messaging
  • Chat with agents through ShowingTime Messaging via desktop and mobile app to keep conversations organized in one central location
  • Add buyer to appointment and share updates.

Updating Ad-Runs for your Listings

Real Estate Market places across the country are moving fast, and Eagle County is no exception!

In some cases, properties are sold and off the market before an ad-run is finished. If your property goes under contract or closes before a run advertising it as Active complete, it is your responsibility to adjust or remove the advertisement. Remember, it is part of the code of ethics to present accurate information to the public. Advertising a listing in the Vail Daily as "For Sale" when it is off-market can open you up to potential issues.

Ensure all your promotions, whether in print or online, display accurate information to comply with the Code of Ethics.
Branded Content in the MLS
Our rules prohibit the inclusion of branded content in any of the public facing areas of the MLS. Branded content is considered anything that can identify the listing agent or their office.
This content is prohibited in pictures, public remarks, video, virtual media and documents.
What about Disclosures?
Some documents that contain the listing agents name, office and contact info can have the privacy setting adjusted to private. This means that in Flex, listing agents can disclosure important information to the VMLS members, without having the branded content shared with the public.
When uploading any documents that contain branded information- be sure the Privacy setting is switched to Private to avoid a violation!
Data and Timing
The VMLS rules requires members to update listing status within 2 business days of the Effective Date.
VMLS member should update your listing status within the required time frame. Repeated offense will result in a fine, so be sure to update your listings in a timely manner to avoid penalization.
