Per your approval of the one year contract extension with a wage increase, check your pay checks during the following pay rolls to make sure you receive the correct increases and COVID Add-On rates:
* Contract 2.5% increased rates - New rates will be in effect for this week's payroll 7/17

* New rates' retroactive adjustment back to 4/1 - Retroactive payments to be processed in the 7/31 payroll
COVID Add-On for June and July - the add-on will be effective in the 7/31 payroll and retroactive payments will be processed in the 8/14 payroll:
* Effective June 1, 2020, nurses who were trained and deployed to care for medium to high COVID risk patients as of June 1, 2020 will be compensated with a $5/hour add-on to their current pay for all hours worked.

* Effective June 1, 2020, those nurses not trained to care for medium to high COVID risk patients who were active on regular duty as of June 1, 2020 (those actively engaged in direct contact with patients/families/caregivers as of June 1, 2020), will be compensated with a $2/hour add-on to their current pay for all hours worked.

* Those nurses trained and deployed after June 1, 2020 will be compensated with a $5/hour add-on to their current pay for all hours worked, effective their first date of deployment for care for medium to high COVID risk patients.

* Those nurses who move from inactive status to active status on regular duty after June 1, 2020, and have not completed training to care for medium to high COVID risk patients, will be compensated with a $2/hour add-on to their current pay for all hours worked, as of the date of their status change from inactive to regular duty.

* This will also be in effect for the month of July and will be reevaluated to potentially continue for the month of August.
