YAMA AND CAFÉ BAZIN WILL OPEN THIS FALL
MONTRÉAL (29 August, 2022) – Sageblan InvestmentsTM and renowned Chef Antonio Park have teamed up to introduce two new food and beverage concepts at the completely re-imagined Vogue Hotel Montréal, Curio Collection by Hilton, Montréal’s original boutique lifestyle hotel. The hotel and the restaurants will officially open this fall.
Chef Park will debut YAMA, which in Japanese means ‘mountain’, paying homage to the restaurant’s enviable location on rue de la Montagne, and the ancient belief that the mountain is central to resources such as fresh water, nutrients, meats, fruits and vegetables necessary for good health and well-being.
Upon entering the warm, open space which moves effortlessly through the main level, guests will be greeted by YAMA’s imposing free-flowing 360 degree oblong bar and open kitchen which anchors the welcoming, social space. Designed using natural materials and a colour palate that derives inspiration from mountainous regions explored during Chef Park’s and the restaurateurs’ extensive travels, YAMA draws people together with a spirit, Pan-Asian menu and cocktail program that is designed to be sensory, elevated and special.
Café Bazin, the convivial and popular Westmount spot for Montréal’s best coffee, seasonal daytime bistro fare prepared in the French tradition, impeccable desserts and pastries will open its sister location at Vogue Hotel Montréal, Curio Collection by Hilton. The collaboration between Chef Park and acclaimed pastry chef Bertrand Bazin will bring an easy elegance to the hotel’s lighter food and beverage offerings. Open all day, with access from rue de la Montagne as well as the breezy interior lounge, Café Bazin will deliver visitors and locals alike thoughtful casual cuisine from early morning onwards.
With its multi-million-dollar renovation nearly complete, Vogue Hotel Montréal looks forward to unveiling its sleek design, luxury service and transformative amenity-forward destination this fall.
