VOLLMER Partner Feature: Presenting You the Complete Solution
It's obvious: for best results you need the best grinding and erosion equipment on the market - but it doesn't end there. When you visit our VOLLMER facility in Pittsburgh, you will see that we have additional equipment within our showroom that is necessary to ensure perfect results. Examples would be a balancing machine for your grinding wheels or inspection equipment for cutting tools. Why are these things so important?
HAIMER on the Importance of Balancing Grinding Wheels
In order to get the most out of modern tool grinding machines and run efficient productions, it is essential to use balanced grinding wheel pack arbor assemblies.

Due to high rpms, unbalanced grinding wheel assemblies may have negative effects both on quality and productivity. Regularly and properly dressing grinding wheels is important to both reestablish precise geometry and create optimal topography. However, the balance state changes constantly because of the frequent change in dressing, wear and profiling.

Invest in a HAIMER Tool Dynamic balancing machine to combat these problems. Click the link below for a success story from one of HAIMER's customers or send an e-mail to haimer@haimer-usa.com for more information.
ZOLLER on how to Simplify Your Tool Inspection Process
As a tool manufacturer or grinding operation, you are always expected to prove and deliver excellent quality to your customers. Universal measuring machines in the ZOLLER- >genius< series for cutting tools enable quick inspection with maximum precision. Measuring results are documented in detail and can be transferred to certain VOLLMER machines with a simple click.

The >genius< saves valuable time in work preparation and programming, eliminates unnecessary reworking and customer complaints, and ensures consistent tool quality every time. In addition, the ZOLLER Tool Inspection Solutions portfolio offers many unique technical features that are complementary to the VOLLMER PCD erosion machines for the woodworking industry. Features range from saw blade scanning availability, reverse engineering capabilities as often wood form tools have to be re-sharpened but there is no drawing available, or the shop needs to have the ability to scan a wood sample. Customer Section
Customer Success Story: VOLLMER Delivers a Pallet Full of Benefits for Saw Manufacturer Integrity Saw & Tool
Wisconsin based Integrity Saw & Tool Inc. has purchased a VOLLMER CHX 840 saw blade sharpening machine with the HS automated loading station to provide capacity for a significant order the company has won from a new pallet manufacturing customer. The VOLLMER CHX 840 has increased productivity by 60%, permitted unmanned running and improved blade quality - without the VOLLMER CHX 840, fulfilling the new order 'would have been impossible'.
It's a familiar story when an engineer leaves his job and sets up a business from his garage. In the case of Integrity Saw & Tool Inc., the foundations were laid in a basement in 1986 for this saw sharpening, HSS drill and end mill regrinding company that soon outgrew the basement, moved into the garage and employed family members to support the growth. It wasn't until the turn of the century that this Wisconsin business really stepped out of its comfort zone to drive growth and expansion to another level.
With millions of wooden pallets in circulation in the US food industry, Integrity Saw has partnered to regrind TCT saw blades for a leading pallet manufacturer. "We knew we needed a new machine with automation to meet the demand. The VOLLMER machines have proven themselves to be 'bullet-proof' and they are built to last. We knew they were going to be running, once you have experience with VOLLMER, it doesn't make sense to look elsewhere. When it came to a new machine, VOLLMER was the only place to look."
