COLD WEATHER SHELTER

Emergency Operations

WHAT: COLD WEATHER SHELTER

SHIFT TIMES:

• Monday, February 23, 4:30 PM - 5:15 PM
• Tuesday, February 24, 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM

WHERE: Gertrude Walden (601 SE Lake Street)

As temperatures are forecasted to drop below 40 degrees for more than four hours including wind chill, we will be opening a Cold Weather Shelter to ensure members of our community have a safe, warm place to stay.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with set up and tear down of the cold weather shelter.

MEALS ON WHEELS

Council on Aging

WHAT: MEALS ON WHEELS

WHEN: February 23 - 27 (varying shifts)

The Council on Aging’s Meals on Wheels program delivers hot, nutritious noontime meals to homebound seniors who are unable to shop or cook for themselves. Several delivery routes and kitchen volunteer shifts are currently available for next week.

Volunteers are needed to help prepare meals and ensure they are delivered safely to those who rely on this vital service.

The Children's Museum of the Treasure Coast is looking for volunteers to assist with setting up and decorating for its signature fundraiser, Ladies Night Out.
