VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Peoples Gas Holiday Market

CALL TO ACTION: PEOPLES GAS HOLIDAY MARKET

Each year, Peoples Gas Holiday Market transforms downtown Pittsburgh into a winter wonderland, featuring dozens of vendors and unique activites. Once again, the Food Bank is excited for the the opportunity to collect donations outside Santa's House in Heinz Hall Courtyard and throughout the Holiday Market event space. We need YOUR HELP to encourage visitors to take a photo with Santa for a suggested donation.

DATES: November 18 - December 23

EVENT TIME: 12 P.M. - 7 P.M.

SHIFTS: Multiple shift options are open on weekday and weekends. Volunteers must stay for the entirety of their shift.

AGE: 5 years or older to participate. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

November 18 - November 20

November 23 - November 27

November 30 - December 4

December 7 - December 11

December 14 - December 18

December 21 - December 23

VOLUNTEER ACTIVITY: Help collect a suggested donation of $10 in exchange for a photo with Santa. Volunteers may be asked to walk to Market Square or EQT Plaza from the Heinz Hall Courtyard to encourage donations.

LOCATION: Heinz Hall Courtyard | 600 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15222

REPORT: Upon arrival, check in with the Food Bank staff member at the ticket booth in Heinz Hall Courtyard.

ATTIRE: Please dress for the weather! This event takes place entirely outside!

PARKING: Volunteers are responsible for finding parking. We suggest street parking or nearby parking garages.
