Hidden Retreat is a sleek and contemporary home remodel enfolded in the serene Blue Ridge Mountains. From the exquisite exterior to the luxurious interior, the residence was renovated with quality craftsmanship, careful precision, and custom design in mind.
Upon arrival, elaborate enhancements of the landscaping are displayed in the Crab Orchard flagstone and Virginia Boulder Terraces carefully sculpted in the front exterior of the home. Other eye-catching features are the synthetic cedar shake roofs and copper valleys ingrooved in the roof lines. In the back exterior, Trex decking and custom rough sawn cedar railings with copper post caps and a funicular with cedar shakes.
Inside, the living room remodel exudes opulence and opens-up to a black granite fireplace with ebony honed granite and reclaimed mantle. The bar was customized with custom cabinetry and walnut stained cabinets ideal for hosting or enjoying an evening in. The kitchen was renovated to include a framed open wall next to stacked stone.
The large guest bathroom was renovated with Herringbone tile with a rain shower head and porcelain standing soaker tub. One of the most customized and singular features of the remodel is the grand bookcase utilized as a secret door that opens into a private powder room.
Hidden Retreat was truly a successful remodel and VPC Builders is pleased with the results of this residential renovation. Much of its accomplishment was contributed to the communication and close collaboration with the homeowners.
