Vallejo, CA- On April 20, 2025, at approximately 9:43 p.m., the Vallejo Police Department (VPD) Patrol Division and the Vallejo Fire Department (VFD) responded to a reported traffic collision in the area of Columbus Parkway, south of Devlin Drive.
Upon arrival, VPD officers located a two-vehicle collision with major damage to both vehicles. A passenger was found unresponsive and trapped inside one of the vehicles. Emergency medical personnel attempted life-saving measures but were unable to locate any signs of life. The passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Both drivers involved in the collision were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment. Preliminary reports indicate that one of the drivers sustained serious injuries.
Evidence located at the scene suggests impairment may have been a contributing factor. Toxicology results are pending and will be confirmed following the autopsy.
The identity of the deceased passenger is being withheld pending notification of next of kin by the Solano County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Office.
This incident marks Vallejo’s fifth traffic-related fatality of 2025.
