FATAL TRAFFIC COLLISION

Vallejo, CA- On May 24, 2025, at approximately 3:07 a.m., the Vallejo Police Department (VPD) Patrol Division and the Vallejo Fire Department (VFD) responded to a reported traffic collision in the area of Sonoma Boulevard at Valle Vista Avenue.


Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle that had collided with the rear of an unoccupied vehicle parked on Sonoma Boulevard. The occupied vehicle sustained significant damage and contained three adult male occupants who were unresponsive inside.


VPD officers removed the rear passenger and initiated life-saving efforts. VFD personnel had to extricate the driver and front passenger from the vehicle. Despite the efforts of first responders, all three occupants were pronounced deceased at the scene.


Alcohol or controlled substances are unknown contributing factors at this time and are pending toxicology results following the autopsy.


The Vallejo Police Department and the Solano County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Office are working to confirm the identities of the deceased. The Solano County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Office will handle next-of-kin notifications.
