Vallejo, CA- On November 10, 2025, at approximately 7:36 p.m., the Vallejo Police Department (VPD) communication operators received a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle near Admiral Callaghan Lane. The reporting party informed VPD communication operators that the pedestrian appeared unresponsive.
Emergency medical services personnel arrived at the scene first and located the pedestrian on the roadway. The male victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel.
A preliminary investigation by the VPD Traffic Division indicates the victim was struck by a vehicle. The driver has been contacted and is cooperating with investigators.
Drugs and or alcohol may have been a factor in this collision, and the investigation remains ongoing.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin by the Solano County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Office.
This incident marks the eleventh fatal traffic collision investigated by the Vallejo Police Department in 2025, resulting in a total of fourteen traffic-related fatalities.
