HUDSON & MARIA PRAYER TEAM
We are excited to let you know about our HPN PRODUCTION PRAYER TEAM. We have teams of Pray-ers for specific film and TV productions, and are offering you the chance to pray for the upcoming film Hudson & Maria, a feature film telling the true story of the world-renown missionary to China, Hudson Taylor. The producers hold monthly prayer meetings in four languages to pray for Hudson & Maria and this is their invitation to us: We warmly welcome anyone who would like to support the project through prayer to join us on Zoom. HPN NYC CHAPTER IS HOSTING A 25TH ANNIVERSARY GALA
We invite everyone on the East Coast to support HPN and meet other creative Christians by attending HPN’s 25th Anniversary Gala in New York City on October 17! God is opening the door for HPN to expand its presence in NYC, bringing prayer, community, and discipleship to professionals across Broadway, fashion, journalism, film, music and television. Please pray for God’s wisdom, provision, and favor as we expand HPN NYC, and for meaningful relationships and miraculous doors to open throughout the city.

THE 78th PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS JUST AIRED
This past Monday night, the 78th annual EMMYS aired live on NBC from the Peacock Theater at LA LIVE. It was hosted by Law & Order actress, Mariska Hargitay. As much as these actors know that winning or losing the award will greatly impact their careers, let’s pray that they discover that knowing Jesus will even more radically change their careers! HARRY STYLES ANNOUNCES HIS GLOBAL STADIUM TOUR FOR 2027
In our new world where music can be downloaded for free and tours are what sell albums, Harry Styles lays out his plan to not only tour the world, but have other known artists opening for him, including Kylie Minogue, Tinashe and Lainey Wilson. As music lovers adjust to going to live concerts instead of record stores, we ask that you pray that they will be wise in who they listen to and that the Lord will speak to them through the power of music. And let’s pray that Harry Styles finds Jesus on his world tour!

YOUTUBE IS 21 YEARS OLD
On the 21st Anniversary of YouTube we have to acknowledge its world-wide influence. It was launched on Valentines Day, 2005 and has exploded since then. To help give you a perspective on its unbelievable impact, here are some statistics: There are over 500 hours of video being uploaded EVERY MINUTE. There are more than 30,000 hours of content being uploaded EVERY HOUR and roughly 720,000 hours, or 82 years of video uploaded EVERY SINGLE DAY. And it doesn't stop! Would you pray for the people uploading it and watching it and ask the Lord to reach the hearts of everyone with HIS discernment, wisdom and an understanding not to be just mass consumers, but healthy, balanced human beings. Scrolling, and watching YouTube videos can become an addiction to so many young people and adults, taking us away from what the Lord has for us to do. We want to challenge Christians to be smarter than the world and not be influenced by its distractions. As you pray, read the history of this phenomena:

TOBI MOMOH AT NYFW
New York Fashion Week has just ended, and we praise God for the testimonies of Christians in Fashion who faithfully live out His presence, truth, and love! We especially praise God for Tobi Momoh, who prayed backstage before walking the runway and the video went viral! As Fashion Weeks in London, Milan, and Paris approach, let us pray for God’s protection and for His touch on the models, designers, creative directors, and crews. And let’s ask God to expose exploitation, abuse, addiction, and bring healing and revelation of true beauty and the value of every human in the Fashion Industry. Pray that believers in fashion will be filled with courage, discernment, offer the love of Jesus, and help transform the industry from within.

MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS
This September 27th, the MTV Annual Video Music Awards, hosted by Snoop Dogg, is airing on CBS from the Peacock Theater at LA LIVE. It celebrates the year’s best songs, performers, albums and tours. And the nominees have been announced. Let’s pray for the people involved in this show, and for the nominees who think they have to personally compromise to “make it” in the music industry. It’s an extremely difficult, demanding, competitive and sometimes dark business and we want to pray for the Lord to do miraculous work in the hearts of everyone involved. If you’re watching the show, pray for everyone you see and listen to. We want every musician to find the unconditional love of Jesus!
